California: Weekly tonnage as of 12 October 2025

The harvest season started at the same time as last year, with small quantities of organic tomatoes. Figures collected by the PTAB show that California processing tomato deliveries are continuing to slow down.

For week fifteen (ending October 12^th) PTAB is estimating 547,550 metric tonnes (t) (603,571 short tons) were delivered to the factories. Week sixteen (ending October 19^th) is estimated to be 154,206 t (169,983 short tons) which would bring the year-to-date total to an estimated 10,595,406 t (11,679,436 short tons). 

The 2025 California Organic processing tomato deliveries for the week fourteen (ending October 5^th) were 25,175 t (27,751 short tons). 

If the weekly projections come true, the projected quantities on October 12 would represent approximately 112% of the California processors’ target (9.34 million t) and would be 7.8% above the average quantities delivered on the same date over past five years.
