- The Greek trade balance showed a surplus for tomato paste and canned tomatoes, whereas it showed a deficit for tomato sauce and ketchup.
- Israeli researchers conducted field trials with tomatoes grown under solar panels, a system known as agrivoltaics. Results show that it can be a promising option for processing tomato farming.
