Technological Forum For Tomato For Industry

The aim of the meeting, organised by the Extremadura National Agricultural Technology Centre (CTAEX), as part of the Tomato Observatory for Industry initiative, is to identify the technological demands and provide integral and cooperative solutions.

This forum will start with an analysis of the situation of the industry tomato sector by AMITOM President, Manuel Vazquez . Subsequently, the presentations will be divided into two blocks, one agronomic and one industrial, to present the results obtained from an analysis made to the producers organizations and industries to meet the technological demands, as well as projects related to the tomato sector currently active in CTAEX .

The event will give a voice to the industries to work on those actions that are favorable in the search for a more competitive sector, developing quality products and covering all those needs detected. Researchers will work jointly among the entities represented, in order to seek future collaborations in projects both nationally and internationally. 

After the closing remarks by Begoña García Bernal, Minister of Environment and Rural, Agrarian Policies and Territory, all attendees will be able to taste very diverse and innovative snacks made from tomatoes. How could it be otherwise?
