Mike Montna elected President of WPTC

During its Annual General Meeting held online on 22 October 2020, WPTC members elected Mike Montna as President of WPTC.

Mike Montna has been the President and CEO of the California Tomato Growers Association (CTGA) since 2008. The CTGA is a voluntary organization that represents its members with regards to establishing a fair price for raw product, lobbying both state and federal government on important legislation, and overall representation on processed tomatoes. Prior to joining CTGA Mike worked in the fruit processing side of the business and state and federal politics.

President of the International Legislation Commission: Carlos Gervas (AGRUCON, Spain)

The Board thanked the outgoing President Dimitris Nomikos (who remains on the Board as Past-President), and Roger Scriven (outgoing Past-President), Pascal Lenne (outgoing Treasurer) & Gwen Young (outgoing President of the Health & Generic Promotion Commission), who are all leaving the Board, for their contribution to WPTC over the last few years.
