Federazione Nazionale Pomodoro da industria: Massimo Passanti assumes the leadership

Massimo Passanti from Ravenna will lead the Confagricoltura FNP Pomodoro da Industria (National Federation of Processing Tomatoes). Agricultural entrepreneur and tomato producer, he is Propar's (cooperative associated with Apo Conerpo with about 2,100 members and 15,000 hectares) number one, as well as being deputy vice president of Conserve Italia. He runs the family farm for fruit and wine with land between Ravenna and Alfonsine, and also directs the Cà Bosco Srl farm in San Romualdo, with more than 200 hectares of arable land including tomato, seed corn, sugar beet, wheat and soy.

The new president of the “Federazione Nazionale Pomodoro da industria” is called to represent industrial tomato growers: "With the aim of maximizing the qualitative and quantitative production and the growth of company profits also through modern precision farming technologies that allow to limit the use of pesticides, water and energy ", explained Passanti.
