Carbon Leakage list published in the EU Official Journal

The European Commission has finally published the official Carbon Leakage list, which includes concentrated tomato puree and paste.
According to the Decision, “Quantitative disaggregated assessments based on the criteria set out in Article 10b(1) and (3) of Directive 2003/87/EC have been carried on a number of subsectors. In the case of the sub sectors […] ‘Concentrated tomato puree and paste’ (Prodcom code 10.39.17.25), it was concluded that the addition of those subsectors to the carbon leakage list is justified. Those subsectors should therefore be deemed to be exposed to a risk of carbon leakage for the period 2021-2030.
