We have developed, and EU patented, a new food supplement based on whole tomato (98%) and olive wastewater (2%). The production is based on controlled heating and spray drying. The supplement that retains tomato sensory properties has antioxidant activity equal to N-acetyl-cysteine. It is capable of interfering with multiple cellular pathways leading to inflammation and neoplastic transformation. Has been successfully tested in controlled clinical trials with no side effects. The product can be the chassis for the development of more targeted food supplements and consumers products
