Casalasco is a leading agri-food Group specializing in the selection, cultivation, processing of tomatoes, as well as the packaging and marketing of tomato derivatives. The Group includes Casalasco Società Agricola S.p.A., Emiliana Conserve S.p.A., Pomì USA Inc., SAC S.p.A., and De Martino S.r.l. Founded in 1977 in Rivarolo del Re (Cremona, Italy), Casalasco today represents the first integrated industrial tomato supply chain in Italy and one of the most important worldwide. The Group markets its products in 74 countries and relies on a network of 800 associated farming companies, 5 production plants, and 70 production lines. Casalasco employs approximately 2,000 people, including permanent and seasonal staff.
Casalasco’s core business lies in co-packing and private label activities, alongside a portfolio of branded products that includes iconic Made in Italy names such as De Rica, Pomì, and Pummarò, as well as brands with a strong international presence like Pomito and Tomato al Gusto. In addition to tomatoes, Casalasco manages two other integrated supply chains, dedicated to legumes and basil. In 2025, FSI, the largest country-focused investment fund in Europe, completed its investment in Casalasco in partnership with the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro, supporting a major project of aggregation and international growth.
