California: Weekly tonnage as of 18 July 2026
The harvest season started at the same time as last year, with an important quantity of organic tomatoes. Figures collected by the PTAB show that California processing tomato deliveries are gradually increasing to peak within a few weeks.
For week three (ending July 18th) PTAB is estimating 507,667 metric tonnes (t) (559,607 short tons) were delivered to the factories. Week four (ending July 25th) is estimated to be 651,598 t (718,264 short tons) which would bring the year-to-date total to an estimated 1,421,692 t (1,567,147 short tons).

The 2025 California Organic processing tomato deliveries for the week two (ending July 11th) were 90,384 t (99,631 short tons).

If the weekly projections come true, the projected quantities on July 25 would represent approximately 15.8% of the California processors’ target (9 million t) and would be 9.42% above the average quantities delivered on the same date last year.
