Robotic Aseptic Filler by IFT

IFT, one of the Italian leader in tomato processing equipment, has combined two very distant worlds in an innovative machine by taking an aseptic bag filling head, widely used in the food industries, and a robotic arm from automotive assembly lines.
This combination has allowed us to create the first robotic aseptic filler that has all the food processing technology and the high reliability of assembly line machines. 

Using the flexibility of movement of a robot, the operator can stretch and fill the bags inside the metal drums without the intervention of the operator.
By equipping the machine with a special automatic loader, it is possible to use coiled aseptic bags (WEB) from 3 to 220 liters, completely eliminating the manual bag loading phases normally performed by the operator.
The same machine can easily fill bags of 1000-1500 liters, favoring manual bag loading operations thanks to the freedom of positioning of the head guaranteed by the robot. 

In bag-in-box filling mode, the filler also works as a palletizer by depositing the filled bag inside intermediate storage containers (drums, bins, etc.) or directly in the carton box.
The filling performances are as follows: up to 14,000 liters/h for 220-1000-1500 liters format (double head configuration, automatic loading / unloading roller conveyors); 360 bph for 3-50 liters format (double head configuration with WEB automatic loader).

The robotic filler can be combined with our tube-in-tube aseptic sterilizer characterized by very low thermal stress thanks to the low thermal differential between the product and superheated water.
