The Italian industry is grieving: Giuseppe Rodolfi has passed away
At the head of the company Rodolfi Mansueto Spa for the past few decades, Giuseppe Rodolfi passed away on 27 February at the age of 90. He was one of the founding figures in 2007 of Northern Italy’s Interbranch Organization of the tomato processing industry.
In its condolence message to the family, the IO described Giuseppe Rodolfi as “a man of great moral standing, a symbol of honesty and consistency, representing the crossroads between tradition and innovation, and someone who shaped the tomato processing industry in northern Italy.”
A member of the IO board of directors, where he represented the industrial sector, Giuseppe Rodolfi presided over the destiny of one of Italy’s oldest companies active in the tomato processing industry, a company that he was able to build up and diversify, turning it into a market leader both in Italy and abroad.
