Solís, the tomato frito that has become a benchmark of sustainability, continues to grow. The brand has just launched the new Solís ketchup, bringing its differential value, the use of locally sourced tomatoes and sustainable cultivation, to the world of ketchup.

Like the rest of Solís varieties, the new Solís ketchup is made with tomatoes grown by local farmers in Las Vegas del Guadiana (Extremadura) with sustainable practices for the environment and respectful of land and water.

"The world asks us to do things right. In 2013, we launched our Solís Responsible initiative that has become a benchmark in the sector and now we take another step by launching our ketchup", says André Moura, Director of Culinary at Nestlé Spain.

"The new Solís ketchup is made with the same sustainable Extremaduran tomatoes that we use for our tomato frito. In its preparation, we use only 6 ingredients, which allows us to offer the highest percentage of tomato on the market in each bottle. In fact, it is made with 1kg of tomatoes per bottle and this gives a more natural and intense flavor to the tomato", he explains.

The Solís ketchup is now available at major outlets in the market and comes in a 550 gram bottle made from 30% recycled plastic.
