Since being set up in 2013, the Licopeno Natural Cosmetics company has been using lycopene supplied by Conesa for manufacturing its cosmetics. Last September, Conesa took a share in the company's capital. Manuel Vázquez Gimón became the company's new chairman and Blanca Bravo, one of the three founders, took over as CEO.

"The project has been consolidated, and it was time to start our expansion, both with new products and references and from a commercial point of view. The arrival of Conesa is very important, as it is a partner with a wide experience of the markets," explained Gema Correa, another founder of the company, and currently a presenter on Canal Extremadura TV.
Other Extremadura companies, like Tomates del Guadiana, Molinar de Zafra or Vianóleo, already market cosmetics and extra virgin olive oil that have been enriched in lycopene.
