Chile: Heinz launches 100% natural tomato sauces

Heinz has launched new tomato sauces in Chile, emphasizing 100% natural ingredients. These sauces, available in Natural and Italian varieties, are designed to enhance pasta and pizza dishes, maintaining the brand's long-standing commitment to quality.

The key feature of these sauces is their composition: they are made entirely from natural ingredients, without preservatives, thickeners, or artificial colors. This was achieved through a dedicated production process, ensuring consumers receive a product with familiar, home-like ingredients.

Álvaro Opazo, Kraft Heinz Innovation Manager for South America, highlights the preservative-free nature of the sauces and the brand's 150-year history of crafting tomato-based products. He emphasizes that this experience allows Heinz to create new, high-quality offerings that meet consumer expectations.

Notably, these tomato sauces comply with labeling regulations and do not carry warning labels, as they are not high in fat, sodium, or sugar. Extensive testing was conducted to ensure the flavors appeal to Chilean consumers.

Andrea Hernández, Marketing Manager for South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, stresses Heinz's dedication to innovation and delivering superior products. She points out that the new sauces contain only five natural ingredients, making them a delicious and high-quality addition to shared meals.

The Heinz tomato sauces are available in 200-gram packages, with the Italian version also offered in a six-pack option, catering to different consumer needs.
