California: 2024 price agreement reached with all processors

On April 23, 2024, the CTGA has agreed to USD 112.50 per short ton (Euros 115.7 per metric tonne, value April 25, 2024) for 2024 with the following processors:
1. Campbells Soup Company
2. ConAgra Brands, Inc.
3. Del Monte Foods, Inc.
4. Escalon Premier Brands, Inc.
5. Ingomar Packing Company
6. Los Gatos Tomato Products
7. The Morning Star Packing Company
8. Stanislaus Food Products
9. Tomatek/San Benito Foods

CTGA considers $112.50 to be a fair and reasonable Base Price for this season.
The Board also felt it was important to establish the price to provide the growers certainty for 2024.
 

 
There will also be changes in late season premiums for 2024. They are as follows (paid on delivered ton basis same as last year):
 
The rest of the terms are the same as the 2023 master agreement.

The Association will continue discussions with regards to the 2024 Organic price, saying “it is its desire to have the Organic pricing completed in a timely manner”.
