California: 2022 Price Agreement Reached with ALL Processors
The CTGA has agreed to USD 105.00 per short ton (Euro 102.5 per metric tonne) with all processors for 2022.

The reference price for raw material is 24% higher than that of 2021
CTGA considers USD 105.00 to be fair and reasonable Base Price for the industry, growers and processors alike. This represents a 24.3% increase from 2021. The Board also felt it was important to set a price prior to the first of the year in order to allow the members to make the best decisions for their operations in light of the reduced water supplies for 2022.
Late Season Premiums are as follows (paid on delivered ton basis same as last year):
9/15 – 9/21 USD 2.00 per net ton*
9/22 – 9/28 USD 4.00 per net ton
9/29 – 10/5 USD 8.00 per net ton
10/6 – 10/12 USD 12.00 per net ton
10/13 – end USD 16.00 per net ton
*USD 2.00 per ton for week of 9/15-9/21 was not in 2021 agreement.
