Obituary: Theodore Corossis

Theodore, besides his immense love for his family, had two passions: Tomatoes and playing bridge. I have known and befriended him from the ‘tomato’ side.
He has always fought for the interests of the organization he worked for, be it as the number one Greek in a Greek-Libyan tomato processing company or later as General Director of PEK, with persistence and patience, always with gallantry but at the same time with an astute diplomacy and mild manner.
I had the chance to know him a bit better and admired the way he fought for many years with his illness, being optimistic and looking at the better side, never giving up. Although he left us early, he was lucky and happy to see his family grow, and proud to see his son excelling in London, getting married and had the pleasure of holding his grandson in his arms. Just a few weeks ago he witnessed his christening.
A bon viveur, a man of principles, values, with love for all, forgiving while demanding, noble, with a huge contribution in the tomato industry.
A true Fighting Gentleman we will always remember."
