CFT: Giubileo Ultra: more yield, more control, less downtime

From 27 to 30 October 2026, at Cibus Tec (Parma, Hall 3 – Stand F002), CFT unveils the evolution of Giubileo, its extractor and refiner.

Giubileo is a cold extraction and/or hot refining unit designed for fruit with or without pits, tomatoes and vegetables, with a capacity of up to 120 tons per hour.

At Cibus Tec 2026, CFT unveils the new patented evolution of this technology.

The most important innovation concerns machine control: thanks to a new adjustment and control system managed from the panel, operators can change key parameters during the process, such as rotation speed and paddle angle. All of this without stopping the machine or production, and without manual intervention.

Adjust yield directly from the panel

Rotation speed and paddle angle can be adjusted automatically via the HMI, based on the incoming product, the flow rate and the quality specifications of the finished product.

An automatic system continuously measures the waste, and a control algorithm adjusts the paddle angle accordingly to achieve the best extraction yield. At the same time, rotation speed stays at the right level, so the product heats up as little as possible and paddles and sieves wear less.

On high production volumes, even a seemingly small variation makes a difference: improving yield from 0.5% to 2% can translate, every day, into a significant amount of additional recovered product, with a direct impact on the plant’s economic efficiency.

Changing the paddle angle without stopping the machine

And this is exactly where Giubileo Ultra takes one of its most important steps forward.

Traditionally, changing the paddle angle requires you to:

• stop the machine;
• wait for it to cool down;
• manually change the paddles’ position;
• restart the system and resume production.

With Giubileo Ultra everything changes: operators can adjust the behavior of the machine and the characteristics of the finished product without machine downtime and without manual mechanical adjustments.

The result is a more flexible line, easier to manage and able to adapt much more quickly to production needs and flow rate variations.

This adjustment also makes it possible to control the viscosity of the product, for greater mastery of the final result.

Hygiene designed into every detail

The renewal of Giubileo does not stop at machine control but also extends to hygienic design.

The new configuration adopts a complete hygienic design: frame designed for easy cleaning, rotating spray balls for effective sanitization (also with automatic valves and hot water), hygienic fasteners and mirror-polished product-contact surfaces. The result: high food safety standards.
