CFT Celebrates 80 Years of Innovation and Success
Marking Eight Decades of Experience in Food & Beverage Processing and Packaging
CFT Spa is proud to announce its 80th anniversary, a milestone marking decades of excellence, innovation and dedication in the food and beverage processing and packaging industry.
Founde
d in 1945 by entrepreneur Camillo Catelli, CFT began its business under the name of Rossi & Catelli, by manufacturing tomato processing machinery in a small factory in Parma, Italy.
In 1957, CFT patented the first Rossi & Catelli evaporator, marking the beginning of a series of innovations that revolutionized the canning industry.
The 1970s saw the launch of pion
eering products such as the Vesuvio peeler, the Califfo and Venus evaporators, and the Stematic Long-Run and Olimpic UHT sterilizers.
In the 1980s, innovation continued with the development of new products such as the Eldorado enzyme inactivator.
In 2004, founder Camillo Catelli received the Laurea Honoris Causa in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Parma, an award that underscores his significant contribution to the canning industry and mechanical engineering. This prestigious award reflects CFT's commitment to promoting excellence and innovation in the industry.
In 2006, Rossi & Catelli became CFT (Catelli Food Technology), further consolidating its leading position in the industry.
In 2007, Raytec Vision, a leading company in sorting technologies, became part of the CFT Group. During the next 15 years, CFT completed a series of acquisitions to reinforce its position as a leading supplier.
Today, CFT designs and manufactures machinery and complete turnkey lines for the processing and packaging of Food & Beverage products. Since 2021, the company has been part of ATS Corporation, a world leader in industrial automation. ATS and CFT work in synergy to offer increasingly cutting-edge solutions for the food and beverage industry.
