Aldo Rodolfi Elected Anicav President
The Italian tomato processing industry association, Anicav, has officially entered a new chapter. At its recent annual general meeting, Aldo Rodolfi was chosen as the new president, succeeding Marco Serafini, who concluded a five-year term at the helm.
The 56-year-old Rodolfi heads Rodolfi Mansueto, a historic family enterprise that holds the title of the oldest member company within Anicav, boasting 130 years of operation. His election marks a historic first for the association, as he is the first leader native to Parma—a region that serves as a vital hub for Italy’s tomato processing sector. Beyond this new role, Rodolfi contributes to the industry as a steering committee member for the Ssica foundation (the Experimental Station for the Food Preserves Industry) and sits on the general council of the Unione Parmense degli Industriali.
A Fresh Strategy for the Industry
The new administration’s roadmap centers on several core objectives, focused primarily on solidifying the sector’s overall reputation, cultivating stronger supply chain ties through improved communication with agricultural producers, and actively driving the global promotion of tomato-derived products.
To achieve this, the new leadership structure intends to drive deeper engagement among member businesses. By utilizing regional committees and specific product groups, the association hopes to spark more active participation, respond dynamically to industry hurdles, and closely track shifting market trends. Cultivating the involvement of the younger generation will also be a major priority moving forward.
A Message from the President

“I want to thank all my colleagues for the trust they have placed in me by giving me the leadership of the association. For me, this is a source of immense pride,” stated the newly elected president. “We are living through a phase of profound transformation, which presents us with significant challenges but also new opportunities for growth. To continue strengthening our competitiveness, it will be fundamental to know how to interpret change with a strategic vision, adaptability, and a spirit of collaboration. In this context, the role of representation takes on an even more central value. I am convinced that, by leveraging cohesion, dialogue, and shared objectives, we will successfully navigate the path ahead, continuing the invaluable work carried out by the Ferraioli and Serafini presidencies.“
