Unilever buys Sir Kensington's

Hellmann's mayonnaise owner Unilever has acquired up-and-coming US condiments maker Sir Kensington's. Financial details were not disclosed.
Sir Kensington's, which since its formation has secured backing from investors including Verlinvest, the Belgium-based private-equity firm, generates the bulk of its US sales through natural and speciality stores. The company is also selling into markets including Canada and Japan
