Samir Majoul, new head of Tunisian bosses

Samir Majoul, Vice-President of the Tunisian Central Agency for Employers since 2013, was elected on 16 January as Director of the National Federation of Food Industry Operators, and the very next day, was elected as President of UTICA, the Tunisian Union for Industry, Trade and Handicraft, at the outcome of the 16th National Congress of the organization. The new boss of bosses, at the head of a board made up of various members of the previous executive board, takes over from Wided Bouchamaoui.
Having worked in the fruit and vegetable canning sector and current Director of a tomato processing company, Mr. Majoul comes from Djerba, a city where his family is well-known in the sectors of the food-industry, finance and company management. For many years, he has been a faithful representative of the Tunisian tomato processing industry in the context of worldwide industry organizations, as well as within the AMITOM and the World Processing Tomato Council.
We want to express our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Majoul and we wish him every success in carrying out his new responsibilities.
