Kraft Heinz Canada has a history that goes back over a century to 1903, when James Lewis Kraft of Stevensville, Ontario, started selling cheese from a horse-drawn wagon. Heinz Canada was later established in 1909 in Leamington, Ontario, beginning with the sale of pickles sourced from local producers. In 2015, Kraft Foods Group merged with the H.J. Heinz Company, forming Kraft Heinz Canada, a subsidiary of the Kraft Heinz Company (NASDAQ: KHC). Today, Kraft Heinz Canada is the nation's second-largest company for iconic food and beverage brands, including Kraft Peanut Butter, Heinz Ketchup, KD, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Renée's Dressing, Jell-O, Classico Sauce, Kool-Aid, and Maxwell House Coffee, present in over 97 percent of Canadian homes.

Kraft Heinz Canada is undergoing a transformation aligned with Kraft Heinz's global mission, Making Life Delicious, by fostering memorable moments in communities through local initiatives such as Place aux Jeux and Kraft Hockeyville, and by supporting food banks across the country through the Kraft Heinz Pantry Project.
