An agreement for the price of fresh tomatoes in the Centre-Southern Basin was finally found at the end of last week (23): the reference price for processing tomatoes for the 2017 season will be exactly the same price agreed in 2016, with no reduction, with a value of 87 Euros per tonne for round tomatoes intended for the production of tomato paste and 97 Euros per tonne for plum tomatoes intended for the production of cans.
