Bayer surveyed 800 farmers in 8 different countries about Global Warming. Their answers were surprising and inspiring. You can find the full report of the Farmer Voice Survey online.

Bayer commissioned an independent agency to interview 800 farmers around the globe. The report was issued in September on their website and reveals their challenges in the context of Climate Change.

A huge percentage, 90%, said they had already experienced an increase in weather changes.

84% are already working on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and half of those are already using (or planning to use) cover crops. 25% are reducing fertilizer use thanks to digital farming techniques, and 25% practice or even no-till farming.

73% have seen pest and disease pressures rising over the past three years, and 54% are already taking measures to improve biodiversity with solutions like insect hotels.

In spite of all the challenges they are facing, 71% of the farmers feel positive about their future. About 54% of them have been farmers for at least 3 generations.

Those were some of the key findings from the Farmer Voice Survey. You can download it here: https://www.bayer.com/en/agriculture/farmer-voice
