The former Amor Benamor group was nationalized and integrated into the public sector in late 2024, and rebranded as Pâtes de l’Est and Conserveries de l’Est under the state group Agrodiv. Its tomato processing facility in the Guelma region (El Fedjoudj) remains among the highest in North Africa with a daily capacity of 500 000 cans of tomato paste per day.
