California: Weekly tonnage as of 25 July 2026
The harvest season started at the same time as last year, with an important quantity of organic tomatoes. Figures collected by the PTAB show that California processing tomato deliveries are gradually increasing to peak within a few weeks.
For week four (ending July 25th) PTAB is estimating 672,560 metric tonnes (t) (741,371 short tons) were delivered to the factories. Week five (ending August 1st) is estimated to be 764,939 t (843,201 short tons) which would bring the year-to-date total to an estimated 2,200,097 t (2,425,192 short tons).

The 2025 California Organic processing tomato deliveries for the week three (ending July 18th) were 62,901 t (69,337 short tons).

If the weekly projections come true, the projected quantities on August 1 would represent approximately 24.4% of the California processors’ target (9 million t) and would be 10.45% above the average quantities delivered on the same date last year.
