Week ending August 19th brought in 1,051,151 short tons (953,500 metric tonnes (mT)) and for the week ending August 26th, the state estimate is 992,000 short tons (899,900 mT). By September 2nd, if the projection of 952,000 short tons (863,600 mT) holds true, California processors will have harvested about 58.5% of the 11,800,000 short tons (10.704 million mT) estimated for the 2017 pack year.

 
Of the 953,500 short tons harvested during week ending August 19th, 26,800 tons (24,300 mT) were Organic. Total organic harvested amount to 321,900 sT or 292,000 mT.
