Last week (w/e 5 August) a total of 994,444 short tons (sT, or 902,060 metric tonnes (mT)) were harvested, of which 27,543 sT (24,981 mT) were organic.
For the week ending August 12, this number could increase at 1,051,000 sT (953,362 mT), bringing the total delivered to 3,921,764 sT (3,557,432 mT), which represents one-third of the total program.
Field department projects an estimated 1,058,000 sT (959,000 mT) to be harvested week the ending August 19.
