The harvest in California is gradually picking up pace with 392,621 short tons (356,180 metric tonnes) processed during the week ending 16 July, bringing the total to date to 441,810 short tons (400,803 metric tonnes).
A projected crop of 676,380 short tons (613,602 metric tonnes) was expected for week ending 23 July.
