Serbia: a new processing plant

BFV to build Euro 6.5 Million tomato processing factory in Kula

According to Serbian press (July 21), Serbian company BFV-Processing of Tomato and Fruits plans to invest 6.5 million euro (USD 7.7 million) in the construction of a factory in Kula, northern Serbia, the city government said.

The factory will process tomatoes and will have about 100 employees, the Kula city government said in a statement on Tuesday.

 Kula city government recently announced that BFV has signed an agreement for the purchase of a land plot with an area of 3.4 hectares for 22.5 million dinars (USD 225,400 or 191,400 euro) from the municipal government for the construction of the factory, which will start at the end of this year.

The entire capital of BFV is owned by Serbian citizen Adrijana Racic, according to data published in Serbia's business register.
